If you missed it, Joe (NatasK) and myself (Amanda) both ran in the Miles Against Melanoma 5K in Pittsburgh this past Saturday- this 5K raised awareness and benefited Melanoma research, and was very near and dear to me since it was also in memory of my father (who I lost to Melanoma a couple years ago). The event turn-out was AMAZING, especially thanks to my sister Jessica who organized it! Both Joe and myself got great times in overall competition as well as in our individual age brackets, had a great time, and met some really amazing people. We want to share more inspiration for our healthy lifestyles and fitness passions with you guys, so be on the look out….. and check out this great photo of your bass-smasher NatasK gettin’ his grind on during the race–
