LOTS of updates in this post, and a new mix, too! But first we want to thank everybody for the AMAZING turn outs at both events this past weekend- the Black Sabbath tribute night with the rock stars of ELECTRIC FUNERAL, as well as INC’s awesome event at the PACA art gallery- big ups to THE BOX CREW and 2189 SKATE CREW, you guys are the bomb and are seriously making things pop in this city! We’re honored to be a part of it
Now then, on to the business! Comin’ up for you guys we have a triple day slammer… The Crooked I is hosting this sickening slew of events- rock on, Marty and Tracy! We’re kicking it off with a Halloween party like no other THIS WEDNESDAY … get ready for another killer tribute, it’s DAFT PUNK VS PRODIGY
Get a few hours of sleep and load up on Red Bulls or whatever tickles your fancy for Thursday because coming in from the UK, legendary Drum and Bass pioneer A-SIDES is about to be dropping some heat with opening support from JEA LEAH, NATASK and MATTER and this event is FREE!!!! If you missed it, Joe (NatasK) and myself (Amanda) both ran in the Miles Against Melanoma 5K in Pittsburgh this past Saturday- this 5K raised awareness and benefited Melanoma research, and was very near and dear to me since it was also in memory of my father (who I lost to Melanoma a couple years ago). The event turn-out was AMAZING, especially thanks to my sister Jessica who organized it! Both Joe and myself got great times in overall competition as well as in our individual age brackets, had a great time, and met some really amazing people. We want to share more inspiration for our healthy lifestyles and fitness passions with you guys, so be on the look out….. and check out this great photo of your bass-smasher NatasK gettin’ his grind on during the race–
