but TONIGHT we’re about to get rowdy by cranking up the BOOM at the Crooked I for NatasK’s residency night, so come out and get down with us- it’s a great way to spend your Wednesday night plus it’s my BIRTHDAY!!!  😀   We’d love to see you all out tonight– and did we mention the slammin’ drink special? Hey guys! We hope you’re all enjoying this sweltering summer weather in the gorgeous Erie, PA… or wherever you are for that mater 🙂  But if you’re around, and we sure hope you are, beat the heat by coming down to the most hoppin’ place in town- the Crooked I. Tonight is NatasK’s weekly residency and you don’t wanna miss out on the good vibes, great tunes, and drink specials sure to make you smile from ear to ear… Tonight NatasK is pulling all kinds of sounds from Moombah to Jungle, some Trap, and of course just that good bass music you know and love! This music will keep you guys dancin’ all night long, so come out and get funky with us. The Wednesday mash-up will be in session from 10PM til 2AM and this week I’m back, so I’ll be streaming the night live on, you guessed it, BassBlogTV. If you missed it, Joe (NatasK) and myself (Amanda) both ran in the Miles Against Melanoma 5K in Pittsburgh this past Saturday- this 5K raised awareness and benefited Melanoma research, and was very near and dear to me since it was also in memory of my father (who I lost to Melanoma a couple years ago). The event turn-out was AMAZING, especially thanks to my sister Jessica who organized it! Both Joe and myself got great times in overall competition as well as in our individual age brackets, had a great time, and met some really amazing people. We want to share more inspiration for our healthy lifestyles and fitness passions with you guys, so be on the look out….. and check out this great photo of your bass-smasher NatasK gettin’ his grind on during the race–

Hello hello, everyone! The four-day slew of events this past week were all amazing- we want to thank each and every one of you who came out to enjoy the music and good vibes with us. You guys are always so awesome and your support means the world to us 🙂  Keep on readin’ to find out what’s coming up……

This Wednesday is NatasK’s weekly residency night at the Crooked I– tasty drink specials, no cover, and four solid hours of a smorgaspord of tunes you can’t resist! Come tide yourself over until the ruckus coming up in the following weeks…. perfect mid-week dance party! Bring your friends and come bounce with us. We’d love to see you out!

DANGorang was started in July of 2010 as a multi-genre dance music blog by Pittsburgh based DJ: CUCITROA. This night was put together to showcase some of the best in new and old Electro, Bmore, Bass, Tropical Bang, Cumbia-Core, Dancehall, Dutch, Party Bounce and Global Dance from a few of the best DJs/Groups in the city. A lil further on the horizon, come rage out with us and our sponsor THE BOX as they put on the second installment of Drips & Beats on Thursday the 21st @ the Crooked I. This will be another night of art, music and fashion you won’t find anywhere else- even live body painting, and a killer art show you don’t wanna miss. All proceeds from this event go to a great cause of helping out the Hotink family- it’s 21+ with ID of course, and it’s a free event, so whatever generosity you’re feeling, whether it be $1 or $10, every cent is appreciated and given to this family in need. So come out for a night of Hip-Hop and other ill beats- QUAKE will be rippin’ it up along with DJs TZ, C.Brown, Divine Seven, and Crystal Seth.

Also coming up, our next Crooked Bass event will of course be coming up in the first week of July, and guess who’s returning? It’s Pittsburgh native WITNESS– he’ll be joining all of us here at the 814 Bass Crew to make the walls bleed danky bumpin’ beats for you guys all night long. TONIGHT!!!!

Come join myself, NatasK, Matter, Ghost Alive, and of course Notixx as we rip the roof off the club tonight– it’s the first Thursday of the month, Crooked Bass time!

What’s up everybody?? We have a ton of events on the horizon here, plus collaborations with other artists, and so much more! Keep on reading to find out what’s coming up for the 814 Bass Crew this week.

NatasK has a bunch of new tunes in the works sure to please your ear buds- they’ll be dropping in the near future! We’re also proud to officially announce his residency at the Crooked I here in Erie- now every Wednesday night you’ll be able to come out and rock with us. It’ll ALWAYS be FREE, always a new drink special sure to make you smile from ear to ear, and of course always be 21+ with ID. This isn’t a Dubstep night like our madness at Crooked Bass events, this is more of an anything-goes type of deal- everything but the kitchen sink if ya know what I mean! So now on Wednesdays, you’ll hear a HUGE amount of music genres in this four-hour time period for these events. Hip-Hop, 80’s, Mash-ups, Classics, even some Pop and top 40- there’s switch-ups and left turns you won’t see coming, and NatasK’s determined to keep it rockin’ to keep you guys moving and enjoying these hot summer nights! So come out and play with us now every Wednesday night, we’d love to see you- plus you gotta quench your thirst, so why not get down with us while you’re at it…… BOOM

Plus the entire 814 Bass Crew– NatasK, Matter, and Ghost Alive grindin’ at the Crooked I as always….. Friday catch NatasK at the Oasis Pub & Grille on the bill with Louis Logic, Ada Tate, and a special guest. Then on Saturday out at Grotto Park, you know what time it is…. FRESHFEST II is poppin off! Hosted by Shea Butter and our friend Profound, Freshfest II has an even better line up this time around- it’s heatin up quick! Get ready for Falling Hollywood, NatasK, Aberian Kelevra, Ada Tate, Separating States, Collective Thought, and Divine Seven.

This second installment of Freshfest is of course MUSIC, FOOD, and BEER– starts at 2PM, ALL AGES, and only $10 for all-you-can-drink brewskis– mm kegs!! Feel free to BYOB, too. DOUBLE DECKER!! TONIGHT The Crooked I is hosting part ONE of this two-night-in-a-row extravaganza in the fantastic downtown Erie… tomorrow, Sugar Ray’s is the place to be! These events are perfect for starting your summer right…

Hi everyone!!!

We have lots of great things in store for the event tonight… Make sure to get to the Crooked I by 10PM– Ghost Alive will be starting off the night to get’chu guys goin, followed by Matter, and of course boom-master NatasK who you really don’t want to miss- He’s bringing in some new sounds and might even throw in his illest and newest Moombah mix.. aww man! And rolling in from Jamestown for his second mash-up with the Bass Crew don’t miss Quake. Last time this dude was here he absolutely crushed it with his unique Hip-Hop/Dubstep/Drumstep flow and we’re seriously stoked to bring ’em back in to boom even harder!! There will even be a surprise guest appearance from a sick local MC who will be spittin’ on some beats with NatasK.

Yours truly (myself, Amanda) will be live streaming the event all night via our uStream channel BassBlogTV so if you won’t be there, you can tune in LIVE to hear the BASS and watch it all go down… hellll yeah! After the show, you can even go back to the channel to watch the live recordings from tonight’s event.

This one’s called SMASHED UP and you may have heard it drop on the dance floor for the first time if you were at the last Crooked Bass event!!! This original tune is so raunchy, so grimy and filled with heavy BASS, now it’s here for us to share with you and the rest of the world! Hey everybody! We here at the Bass Crew (NatasK and myself) just got to the club to set up. Jeff Bujak just arrived as well! Tonight will be one for the books, no doubt about it… Ghost Alive will be starting the night with his opening set and I’m sure he’ll be bringing the bass.. sure to warm up the night here in the downtown 814. Oh wow, Jeff Bujak is setting up this crazy lighting thing- I don’t even know what it is!! You guys NEED to get down to the Crooked I tonight- //1013 State Street, Erie PA 16501 no cover, 21+, and from 10PM-12AM there’ll be $1 Pabst Blue Ribbon Pounders and  $2 JAMESONS!
